Home Based Therapist

Therapist is required to have Master’s degree with a current license issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board and provide therapy service to individuals involved with the Department of Child Services.  Therapist will provide goal-oriented, time-limited therapy in the natural environment of families who need assistance recovering from physical, sexual, emotional abuse, and neglect. Other issues, including substance abuse relapse prevention, mental illness, personality/behavior disorder, developmental disability, dysfunctional family of origin, and current family dysfunction, may be addressed in the course of treating the abuse/neglect.

  • Domestic Violence Service Provider

This service is intended to address survivor and child intervention services by staff with a minimum of an additional 20 hours of training from such entities as Indiana Coalition of Domestic Violence and/or Office for Victims of Crime. Provider will provide assessments, safety planning, advocacy, counseling, skill-building, and education to victims of domestic violence.

Home Based Caseworker
Homemaker Parent Aid

Homemaker/Parent Aid should be an experienced paraprofessional with high school diploma or GED at least 21 years of age who provide direct skills to families involved with the Department of Child Services. Homemaker/Parent Aid services are focused on daily living skills and habilitation activities.

Supervised Visitation Facilitator

Supervised Visitation Facilitator should be experienced paraprofessional with high school diploma or GED at least 21 years of age. This service is intended solely for the supervision of parenting time.

Home Based Caseworker is required to have Bachelor level degree in Human Service Field that provides direct services to those involved with Department of Child Services. Home Based Caseworker will provide services to assist with the safely maintaining children in their home (or foster home), prevent children’s initial placement or re-entry into foster care, preserve, support, and stabilize families, and promote the well-being of children, youth, and families. Additionally, home based caseworker services provide any combination of the following services to the families as approved by DCS/Probation: Home visits, participation in DCS case planning, supervised visitation, assistance and education with rehabilitation, mental health, and skill building.
